Welcome to Rogue's comic Gallery. I am new but want to contribute. Credit goes out to all the origional scanners and uploaders. it is without your help that I wouldn't be able to enjoy these comics or to give back. Most links are rapidshare but a few I did were mediafire so I will post them also. Enough talk lets get started with one of my own uploads.

Avengers Disassembled, referred to in some participating series as Disassembled, is a crossover event between several Marvel Comics series. The general idea is that the major heroes (the Avengers, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four) are assaulted, not just physically, but emotionally. Author Brian Michael Bendis said in an article in Newsarama that the one thing that separates this crossover from others is that "not everyone is coming back from this one." The "Disassembled" tag is a reference to the Avengers' rallying cry, "Avengers Assemble!".

The series centers on the Avengers, and this stems into the individual crises affecting Thor, Captain America and Iron Man. The "Disassembled" stories of Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four do not tie in and are stand-alone storylines that only share the "Disassembled" title. The "Disassembled" trade paperbacks display the Avengers "A" symbol on the spines, completed when all of the "Avengers Disassembled" books are displayed in order: Avengers, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man.

The active members of the Avengers team during the events of "Chaos" (the Avengers portion of "Avengers Disassembled") were Ant-Man II, Captain America, Captain Britain III (Kelsey Leigh), Falcon, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, Vision, Wasp and Yellowjacket.

Decimation is the late 2005 Marvel Comics storyline spinning out of the House of M limited series, that focuses on the ramifications of the Scarlet Witch's stripping nearly all of the mutant population of their powers, reducing a society of millions to one of scant hundreds.This event, which occurred on November 2 according to X-Men (vol. 2) #191, is known as "M-Day" in the Marvel Universe.

"Decimation" began with the self-titled one-shot Decimation: House of M: The Day After, and heralded the relaunch of the Excalibur team in New Excalibur, focusing on Pete Wisdom looking for Captain Britain to head up a new British super team, as well as the relaunch of X-Factor from the MadroX miniseries. It also includes several mini-series - Son of M starring a depowered Quicksilver, Generation M focusing on other depowered characters, Sentinel Squad O*N*E showing the latest iteration of the mutant-hunting Sentinels to be robots piloted by humans, X-Men: Deadly Genesis, and X-Men: The 198 - and continues throughout the Marvel Universe, particularly in the X-Men-related titles. One consequence is an upswing of anti-mutant sentiment, especially among certain religious groups, who consider M-Day to be God's judgment against mutant kind.

It has been confirmed by various sources that there are considerably more than 198 mutants remaining - the number has been referred to as "symbolic" rather than actual, and in The 198 Files is said to be the earliest confirmed number. Numbers for pre-Decimation mutants vary from "over a million" (House of M #8) to 14 million (New X-Men #115, where it is said that the 16 million mutants who died on Genosha was around "over half" of the estimated global mutant population of 30 million mutants), giving a population, if the commonly-used 90% depowered figure is true, of between one hundred thousand and one and a half million. Based on the mathematical comparisons of the oft-repeated 198 and several million, Marvel has recently reevaluated the 90% figure into "Over 99%". This is shown in Civil War: Battle Damage Report when Iron Man comments on the Post-CW world. The figure may be reevaluated again depending on events taking place in the upcoming Endangered Species and Messiah Complex storylines.

Both Hank Pym and Beast note shortly after the event that it is impossible for the energy that certain mutants controlled to simply have vanished, and that it must have been "sent" somewhere. As would later be revealed in New Avengers, most of this energy became a sentient entity called "The Collective", who has since come into violent conflict with the Avengers. In addition, a portion of the energy revived the body of Gabriel Summers, who had been trapped in space for many years following the defeat of Krakoa.

Luke Cage, born Carl Lucas and also called Power Man, is a superhero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Archie Goodwin and artist John Romita, Sr., he first appeared in Luke Cage, Hero for Hire #1 (June 1972).

Originally the series had debuted as Hero For Hire #1, though it became Power Man from #17 onwards. The cover logo included Luke's name, so from #1–16 the cover logo read Luke Cage, Hero For Hire and from #17 onwards Luke Cage, Power Man. Luke's name was not part of the official series title, although it was part of the cover logo.

Eventually, however, Power Man's sales became unsustainable. At that time, the decision was made to combine his series with that of another Marvel hero whose series had just been cancelled. Iron Fist, whose solo series had run for 15 issues (the dangling "Steel Serpent" storyline was wrapped up in Marvel Team-Up), combined with Cage's title, taking his supporting cast, including Colleen Wing and Misty Knight, with him.

Iron Fist joined the cast of Power Man in a three-parter in #48–50. Power Man's name changed to Power Man/Iron Fist from #48 upwards. Again, there was a discrepancy between the cover logo and the indicia. The cover logo was titled "Power Man and Iron Fist", but the separating slash was used in the indicia. Moreover, the indicia title was only changed with issue #67.

Cage and Fist, who separately might have remained somewhat trivial, combined to create a memorable pair who, arguably, were approaching the A-list of Marvel properties. In crossovers like Secret Wars II, they were as much involved as many of the A-listers, and group shots often included them alongside people of such magnitude as Daredevil and Spider-Man. The Power Man/Iron Fist property could be compared to properties like Dr. Strange or Nova, who have had repeated attempts at ongoing series, a few of whom have been long-lasting and have had an impact on the Marvel Universe.

After Chris Claremont handled the merging story, the title was written by Marvel staffers Ed Hannigan and Mary Jo Duffy. A young Kurt Busiek had one of his first regular assignments with the title between issues #90 and #100, and the last stories were written by Christopher Priest (under his birth name James Owsley), another Marvel staffer. The series ultimately concluded with #125 as part of a wave of cancellations intended to clear space for the New Universe line. The conclusion killed off the character of Iron Fist, leaving Luke Cage once more a solo operative.

Since the conclusion of the series in the 1980s, a few attempts have been made to revive the properties of Iron Fist and Power Man. John Byrne resurrected the Iron Fist character in the pages of Namor around #20–25, bringing him in as a supporting character for that title. At about the same time, Power Man was given a new shot at an ongoing series, simply dubbed Cage. Neither was wildly successful. Namor was cancelled at #62 (though Iron Fist had fallen into disuse long before that, when Byrne had left the title), and Cage was cancelled after 20 issues.

In 1996, as a consequence of the Heroes Reborn storyline, the main Marvel Universe suffered a power vacuum after the Fantastic Four and Avengers were presumed killed. A new Heroes For Hire, written by John Ostrander and illustrated by Pasqual Ferry, was formed by Cage and Rand along with many other characters made equal members of the team. It lasted for 19 issues before it was cancelled.
