End of Edo Era - It was the last time a man lived as a samurai and fought entrusting his life and beliefs to a sword.
It was the time when long peaceful Tokugawa Dynasty began to be overshadowed triggered by the arrival of Westerners. During the upheaval, when youths were seeking for new age, there was an existence that brought turmoil and chaos. It was called Hasha no Kubi, or the Head of Conqueror. It was said that the person who could obtain the head awoke in revolution time could rule over the whole country. On the other hand, there was another shadow existence called Eternal Assassin. They have been destined to fight Hasha no Kubi in order to seal. Both had been fighting each other behind the history. Their fights have affected the history involving those who wanted the power.
Someone wanted it for themselves, someone wanted it for avenges, and someone wanted it for their ideal.
Their thoughts cross each other over the Hasha no Kubi. Their thoughts put tougher as if they were complicated gear wheels. Then, it began to move the history as if it became an engine that moved to the future.

Based on a shounen manga by Yagi Norihiro serialised in Monthly Shounen Jump.
The setting of the story is a fictional world of abundant towns where humans coexist with demons called Yoma. These monsters feed on humans as their main source of food, hiding themselves in human society until they strike.
A group of skilled warriors form a nameless organization to protect humans from these demons. These warriors are called Claymores, after their immense Claymore weapons. They willingly infuse themselves with demon flesh and blood to become powerful half-human hybrids. Villages in danger of attack hire warriors from the organisation for protection.
The story of Claymore follows the adventures of the beautiful Claymore warrior Claire, who fights demons and struggles to hold on to her humanity.
Long ago, the Yoma, the shape changing demons, took human form to live in disguise among human society. They feed on human innards, and take possession of memories from the brains of people they eat. These acquired memories help them better disguise themselves within human society.
In recent years, a secret society discovers a way of implanting demon bodies and body parts into humans, to create hybrids more powerful than the original demons. Hybrid`s standard abilities include faster healing, limited shape modification, the ability to detect other demons and hybrids, and overall enhanced physical prowess. Almost all hybrids are created against their will; they are typically survivors of families attacked by demons. The only exception is the lead character, who volunteered to become a hybrid to avenge her family. The society sends hybrids to towns that can afford their fares to kill demons, although not every hybrid does so willingly (this is implied in the manga.) The society is often strict and harsh; hybrids who break the rules risk being hunted down by their fellow hybrids.

Following the events of the first Ghost in the Shell movie, Major Motoko Kusanagi has since left her physical body and is now a "ghost" living in the network. This leaves Batou as the top officer at Section 9, the special task force assigned to matters of human/machine relations. Batou`s latest assignment is to investigate the recent string of suicide-murders perpetrated by a certain brand of "gynoids," androids designed to look like women. Together with officer Togusa (one of the last few people who hasn`t had his body fitted with cybernetic parts), Batou tracks down the cause of the wayward gynoids—all the while pondering and discussing the hazy realms where machines become dangerously close to human, and humans become dangerously close to machines.

At the same time in a different place, a Canadian youth by the name of Pete Pumps was performing an air stunt when an accident happened which led to his passing. By a weird twist of fate, Tazusa began to hear strange voices and realized that a Canadian ghost has resided in her body. After futile attempts to get rid of Pete, Tazusa decides to get accustomed to his presence and in the meantime, improve on her techniques in order to get selected for the Olympics.

As a child, Haruka saw ghosts and specters. She realized in her twelfth year, after observing a certain white haired, black cloaked man standing on the cross of a church, that what she was seeing were not ghosts.
Soon after this first sighting, time stopped in the middle of a quarrel between herself and her childhood friend Yuu Gotou, and the man appeared before her again, surrounded by `blue snow`, calling her the `Dragon`s Torque.`
A ghost hunt for the `black caped ghost`, initiated by her school friend Miho Mukai, finds Haruka and Yuu face to face with him once more: Karasu, an alternate Yuu from a different dimension, fifteen years from the future.
Karasu`s a Dragon Knight from the dimension called La`cryma, trying prevent it`s destruction at the hand of the masked man of Shangri`la. To save La`cryma, he must capture Haruka, which sends his emotions into chaos, as she resembles the Haruka of his dimension that he`d failed to protect in the struggle against Shangri`la.
Shangri`la`s intentions to create an ideal timespace by destroying and assimilating all possible dimensions requires Haruka`s power to manipulate timespaces, while La`cryma needs her power to thwart Shangri`la`s plans.
Haruka, Yuu, and their friends are swept up in a clash between ideals, quantum physics, greed, and mankind`s inherit desire to survive as they struggle to understand the concept of infinite parallel dimensions and the changes in their own.

Samurai 7 is based on Kurosawa Akira`s famous movie, "Seven Samurai".
In the far distant future, on a planet that might have been called "earth", there was a war between samurais who mechanized their bodies. After the long war, people enjoyed a modest peace.
In those days, people in Kanna Village are suffering at the hands of the Nobuseri, who are the ruined samurais. After the war ended, they lost their purpose to fight, and they`ve been robbing the village of their crops and women. Because they don`t have any way to fight against them, they have to obey the Nobureri`s orders.
One year, before harvest season, Gisaku, a head of the village, propose that they hire samurais to protect them from the Nobuseri.
Riki, who is a young boy full of energy, Kirara and Komachi, twin priestesses, go to a town to look for samurais to help them.

It is 1604, four years after the Battle of Sekigahara, perhaps Japan`s greatest civil war. The people try to recover from its aftermath and enjoy the newly attained peace. Amid such times Yuya Shiina, a roughneck girl who earns money by capturing outlaws, mistakes a roaming and peace-loving medicine seller Mibu Kyoshiro for the legendary wanted man "Onime-no-Kyo." But she soon realizes that she is wrong when she sees that Kyoshiro is just a weakling. Nevertheless, she ends up capturing Kyoshiro anyway -- he is wanted for running off without paying for a meal. As they travel together Kyoshiro tries to help Yuya catch another wanted criminal. In the process Kyoshiro is cornered. Then he mumbles, "Here he comes," and the color of his eyes turn a deep red. He pulls out his sword which he had never touched before and suddenly, Onime-no-Kyo, the legendary assassin said to have killed one thousand men with this sword, is standing there.
Kyoshiro and Kyo: Two spirits in one body. Yuya is looking for a "man with a wound on his back" who killed her older brother. The two head to Edo together. One after another, samurai come after Onime-no-Kyo. Why do Kyoshiro and Kyo share the same body?

A shy and unconfident teenager has become very accepting at only stealing glances at a cute girl as they ride the same train each morning on their way to their high school. At least until Saionji Sekai surprises Itou Makoto and chances to get a peek at a photo-snap of the beautiful Katsura on his cell-phone. After evilly teasing Mokoto about his forlorn crush, Sekai offers to support him in his romance. So after many Makoto-pep-talks and lots of scheming, the three become close friends. Close enough that Makoto braves asking Katsura out on date. And she agrees. Later that day, Makoto finds a quiet moment express his thanks for all support that Sekai has offered him, and makes clear his intent on finding a way to repay her kindness. But he is totally unprepared and very surprised at the reward that Sekai has chosen. Sekai steals a long kiss from his lips, before breaking away to run for the train. Sekai turns and wishes Makoto well on his date.

In the distant future, mankind is divided into two powers; Union and Deague. They have continued a war so long that no one is sure when it began. Union uses manned weapons, Strain is the main military power, while Deague uses unmanned weapons Tumoru.
Sara Viereck, a daughter of a good family, is a Union’s 16-year-old girl who goes to Grapera Space Armed Soldier Academy located in Cranial Solar System in order to become a full-fledged Reasoner (a pilot of Strain).
Her brother, Ralph Viereck, was sent to the front line 130 light years away to accomplish a special mission when she was 11 years old. It takes 400 years of objective time even by the fastest sub-light speed space craft of Union to travel that distance. However, according to relativistic theory, it corresponds to two subjective years (the time crews experiences). Therefore, Sara needs to go to the same battle field to meet her brother.
Because they lost their parents when they were quite young, Sara thinks of her bother as a guy dearer than a sibling, and she lives for their reunion.
One day, the planet Sara lives is suddenly assaulted by Deague. Surprisingly, it was her brother Ralph that takes away a mysterious girl sleeping in a capsule.
To search for the truth, Sara gets in Strain and runs after him. However, she receives an attack from Ralph, and the Mimic is broken. The Mimic is a copy of the pilot’s brain, and it is an essential part to control the Strain.

When a human is marked to die, a faint gray line that is invisible to most appears around their neck. As time passes, that ring becomes darker and darker, until it is eventually black, and that person dies. Kita Michiru has an unusual gift, she possesses "Shinigami Eyes" which allow her to see these rings. When Michiru notices that two of the boys in her class, Akatsuki Chika and Tachibana Shito not only have rings, but that they`re jet black, they reveal to her that the were supposed to die in a tragic accident six months ago. With the help of the Zombie Loan loan office, they were given a second chance at life, should they be able to pay for their debt by doing the work of Shinigami and killing malicious zombies. They petition Michiru to assist them in their efforts, and she finds her everyday life changing dramatically.
